AOOLG CHAIRMAN GIVES STEWARDSHIP OF TENURE, COMMISSIONS VARIOUS PROJECTS

Determined to improve the standard of living of the residents of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Governmet, Engr. Sheriff Musa had executed various projects, commissioned as an electioneering promise fulfilled.

         











Speaking at the commissioning of the projects, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Chairman, Engr. Sheriff Musa said there would be no excuses not to fulfil the electioneering campaign promises to residents adding that the step was necessitated by the need to deliver more dividends of democracy through the provision of developmental social amenities that would enhance the residents’ well-being and make life more meaningful for people of the area.    

According to him" the projects include: Renovation of a block of two classrooms at Local Government Primary School, Ketere, Sango- Ota, Construction of a detached toilet facility at St. Thomas (RCM) Primary School, Ota, Renovation of a block three classrooms at A.U.D Primary School Iju, Ota, renovation of Ado-Odo/Ota Legislative Chamber, Grading of roads within constituencies 1 & 2 of Ado-Odo/Ota LG area among forty recorded projects and achievements", he said.                                                        
Engr. Musa  appreciated the support of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Executive Council members of the Local Government, traditional and religious leaders, among others for the achievements recorded, assured the people that the present administration in Ogun State would not relent  on more developmental projects across some localities in the area before the end of this tenure, appealing to the residents of the areas to sustain their loyalty to the administration, by paying their levies promptly.

His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun ably represented by Commissioner For Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Ganiyu Hamzat said the achievements were in line with Ogun State Development Pillar 'ISEYA' which has been the bedrock of  Ogun State Government achievements as "Building Our Future Together", a collective efforts.

In their separate contributions, Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof).Abdulkabir Obalanlege, Odota of Ota, High Chief Oladele Adeniji, the Head of Local Government Administration, HOLGA, Dr. Adebola Bamgbose and others commended the determination and the achievements of Engr. Sheriff Musa led administration for the achievements within three  years in office for working assiduously to actualise the quantum of projects for his people.

Also speaking, the trio of Baales of Atan-Ota, Baale of Erinle, Samson Akano, Baale Egando Ajidigin, Biliaminu Salami and Baale Oyawole, Eleku Ajani appreciated the council boss for the choice of projects, saying they would have direct impact on the people, at improving their well-being.


Iyaloja of Atan, Chief Mrs Abosede Isiyemi enjoined the market users to be cautious in the usage of the  projects and take proper maintenance in order to encourage Governments to do more.
