 OGUN SSG CONGRATULATES SUBEB DIRECTOR ON HIS RETIREMENT

Secretary to the Ogun State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, has congratulated the outgone Director of Quality Assurance Department at State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB), Elder Olusegun Alade, as he retired from active service in the state Civil Service.


Speaking during the retirement programme, organised by management and staffers of the Board, at the Conference Hall of the Board, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Mr. Talabi described the retired Director as a man of integrity, worthy of emulation.

While encouraging civil servants who are still in service to imbibe the spirit of commitment and be focused, as day of reckoning would surely come, the SSG enjoined the retiree to continue to demonstrate good attitude in retirement.  

Also speaking, the Head of Service, (HoS), Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, stated that civil servants in the state should endeavour to draw inspiration from highly experienced individuals, so as to resonate and be great in life, wishing the celebrant more years ahead in sound health, as he would open another chapter in his life.

In his remarks, Chairman of the Board, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi, commended the retired Director, noting that his dedication, selfless service and contribution to the service would always be remembered.

Responding, the retiree, Mr. Alade, expressed gratitude to the state government, management and staff of SUBEB for their love and kindness throughout his active service, promising not to take them for granted.
