COMMISSIONER CHARGES STAFFERS TO UPHOLD GOOD CONDUCT IN SERVICE
Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, has called on staffers of the ministry to uphold diligence and good conduct as civil servants in the State.
Hon. Hamzat gave this charge at the sendoff ceremony, organised for the Director, Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Opeolu Aderinwale, saying his expertise and dedication to duty while in service was worthy of emulation.
"The large turn-out of families, well-wishers and the feedback we get today is an indication of the dedication and dutifulness of Mr. Aderinwale, while he was in service. I urge all staffers in the ministry to learn from his commitment and dedication to duties in the interest of all and the State at large", he said.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Razak Daddah, commended the celebrant for serving the State meritoriously, wishing him well in all his endeavours, as he bows out active service.
Remarking, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr. Rotimiolu Akinlesi, represented by the most senior Director, Mr. Abiodun Akinwunmi, said his impact on the lives of those around him had been profound and his professional journey had been remarkable.
He affirmed that the retiree's unwavering work ethics, humility, loyalty, dedication and his wealth of knowledge remain outstanding in Chieftaincy matters in the state, referring to him as an encyclopedia of Chieftaincy details.
In their separate remarks, Mr. Rosiji Lawal and Miss Seyi Ajibola, said that the retiree was an hardworking and dedicated man, who prioritises good work ethics and delivers on any assignment given to him.
Overwhelmed with joy, the celebrant appreciated God for the successful journey so far, while admonishing those in active service to contribute their quota to the betterment of the State civil service.
