 OGUN COLLEGE OF NURSING BEGINS ADMISSION FOR BASIC MIDWIFERY PROGRAMME

The Ogun State Government has commenced the sale of admission forms for the year 2025 Basic Midwifery programme, at the Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences.

Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, in a statement, advised prospective candidates to complete the registration process online and avoid touts seeking to defraud applicants.

Dr. Coker stated that, all application details are available at apply.ogcon.edu.ng, adding that the registration process would close on February 12, 2025.

She emphasised that, applicants must be at least 17 years old and possess a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings in O’Level WASCE/GCE/NECO, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The Commissioner noted that, candidates awaiting O’Level results are not eligible to apply and urged applicants to prepare for computer-based tests in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematic, noting that examination details, including date, venue, and time, would be provided in the registration printout.

Dr. Coker, however, clarified that admission into the College’s OND/HND Nursing programme was only through JAMB, and the sale of forms had started, adding that this differs from the Basic Midwifery programme, for which the College is currently selling admission forms.
