TRACE CREATES AWARENESS AGAINST MOTORBIKES WITHOUT SIDE MIRRORS

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), has embarked on awareness programmes to discourage motosrbike riders also known as commercial motorcyclists from plying the road without side mirrors.

"Obviously a motorbike without side mirror is an accident waiting to happen because the rider will be unable to see things happening at the rear. As a matter of fact, after this awareness exercise, the agency will proceed to enforcement, to checkmate riders who have refused to abide in accordance with the awareness guidelines", he said.

He revealed that, TRACE Officer's Wives Association (TROWA), had equally mounted series of campaigns against motorbikes without side mirrors and helmet which had been taken to various parks and garages in the State on the need to prioritise safety.
