Ado-Odo/ Ota LG Chairman Seeks Corporation From The Newly Swear-in Appointees
The Executive Chairman of Ado Odo Ota Local Government, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, has urged the newly appointed supervisors and special advisers to collaborate with his administration in order to pilot the ship of the Local Government with a view to ensuring that government policies and programs are carefully formulated and implemented.
The Local Government boss, Alhaji Lawal Wasiu made this call during the swearing-in ceremony and Oath of Allegiance by the newly appointed Supervisors and Special Advisers
at the local government secretariat in Ota.
The LG Chairman, Lawal emphasized the importance of upholding a culture of integrity, honesty, and hard work, as exemplified by Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun warned against favoritism, indolence, inefficiency, and corruption, which can hinder progress and cause unnecessary bureaucracy.
Lawal commended the Legislative Council for conducting a thorough and speedy screening exercise, ensuring that all appointees are suitable for their positions.
He encouraged the new appointees to work closely with existing local government functionaries to effectively implement government policies and programs.
Former House of Representatives Member, Hon. Paul Olakunle Salako, appreciated Governor Abiodun and his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, for creating an enabling environment for good governance adding that the newly appointees should partner with the Chairman to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
Responding, on behalf of appointees,the Supervisor for Works and Housing, Mr. Wale Anjorin, promised quality delivery and assured that the new appointees will support the good vision and mission of the Lawal Adewale Wasiu-led administration.
