 I Spent Christmas In A Sick Bed- Pastor Enoch Adeboye



Pastor Enoch Adeboye has shared how he broke down and almost died during evangelism in Ilesha.

The details News reports that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, while giving the testimony in church, said 7 years ago he collapsed during an evangelism program and for the first time he spent Christmas on a sick bed.

He added that due to the bad road network and a very weak body they had to charter a helicopter to fly him back to Redeem Camp.

He said:

“Seven years ago, during this same program, my body broke down completely due to the terrible road conditions.

“For the first time in my life, I spent Christmas Day in bed. The devil was certain he had finally got me.

“I collapsed in Ilesha, and to bring me back to the camp, we had to charter a helicopter. I was too weak to travel by road—if I had, I would not have made it”.

“Seven years later, I am still here! I want you to thank God for sparing my life”, Adeboye added after narrating the incident, urging the congregation to thank God for his life.

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has weighed in on the Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Godswill Akpabio. 

Details News reports that Remi Tinubu said she has not taken a position on the issue because she believes the 10th Assembly is a matured chamber.

“I know with what is going on in the senate, you may say, why am I not taking a position? I believe that the senate is doing what is needful, because that’s what it is.”

“We shouldn’t be hearing things like that. It’s a matured chamber, and it should be treated with respect. It’s an honour for you to be in that place alone.

“I was there for 12 years, even in my younger days, and I’m still trying to look young, but people compliment you all the time. Women, raise yourself, don’t be in a position that men will be talking to you anyhow. You can always shut them down before they start,” she added.


Mrs Tinubu added that Nigerian youths are equipped with what it takes to excel, urging women to continue lifting their heads high and doing their best.

She acknowledged the progress women have made and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
